Product Details
Tastes Like: Taken to a DARK roast you will dote on the floral flavours with bright notes of lemon and honeysuckle balanced with the chocolatey taste of a dark roast.
Maragogype is a mutant variety from the plant typica, that was first fount in Brazil. This plant has huge leaves large cherries and most interesting to us huge beans. We roast it a little dark so that the bens are even larger.
The size of the plant limits its ability to have a large yield so for the farmer its not as big an earner as some other varieties could be. But what it gives in the cup with this lower yield is a better chance of producing great coffee.
This coffee has a great body, clean flavour, and to die for balance. They are unique among other central Americans. The acidity is bitey but not in a bad way.
A must-try.
