We love this Kenyan coffee it is strong, powerful and intensely-flavoured coffee with sharp acidity, winey, dark cocoa syrup rich finish.
Ideal for many of the slow-brewing methods such as a plunger, drip, stovetop, Aeropress, V60, Kona filter, etc where they will show higher flavours.
However, it will also work very well in espresso extraction or filter brewing where the clean rich cup will provide a long finish.

Twin Rivers Estate as the name suggests is a farm between two major rivers namely Athi and Thika River both of which act as the source of water for the farm. The farm has been managed by Tropical Farm Management Kenya since early 1980 and is located at the border of Thika and Machakos district in Donyo Sabuk. At an altitude around 1400m a.s.l, it is predominantly an early crop farm, however, renowned for its quality.
All coffees are wet-processed after selective handpicking courtesy to the well-trained workers, thereafter careful pulping is exercised followed by fermentation, soaking, grading and sun-drying resulting in a characteristic cup which is the specialty of Kenyan coffee. The improvement of the quality of the lower grades is a result of thorough hand sorting and milling at farm level, where it is bagged and sent straight to the central auction in Nairobi.
